YELLOW

A sea of yellow. Where it's not supposed to be. Scots Broom, an invasive plant is growing on this island and particularly in the Right of Way under the BC Hydro power lines. 3 years ago a crew came and pulled and cut it all. they were supposed to be back to do it again . Now it looks like this. It's actually very pretty and I am very fond of yellow. (and especially the yellow/red one in the inset) but it's a problem too big for me.

A row, a walk, eating, and not a lot of work today. The weather isn't as nice as yesterday. About to go eat another dinner of K's in the guest cottage. Word has it there are freshly gathered oysters, small freshly caught fish, and spotted prawns from the neighbors trap and other fishy things for those that like such.
