Roommate

Daniel was assigned a roommate last August, at the start of his first year of college. On the day of move-in, the roommate was assigned to a different place, to some other housing he'd applied to as an international student. So D's been roommate-less, though he shares study/kitchen space with another couple kids. At move-in, we bought him a plant. He named it Bohan, after the missing roommate. Bohan has traveled back and forth between Ohio and Virginia a couple times, spent Christmas in Tennessee, and now resides in the sunny back room where he lives in a nice new pot.
