Clean

Another drama with P this morning. A called (followed by Mt) saying they’d noticed they had missed a call from his fall alarm company at 2am to say his alarm had gone off (at 11pm!) and they couldn’t get him to respond when they called him. A phoned them up this morning to be told the ambulance had gone round (at 4am!) and found he was fine, and the alarm had gone off by accident. Texted T but he (who’s supposed to be first to be called) hadn’t heard anything and was in any case in Cheltenham so couldn’t have helped.
Sigh… I emailed him to check all was ok after his disturbed night but of course he didn’t reply!
Anyway, I was pleased to get myself back to some proper exercise today after my recent break for gallivanting around. Got a good Aquafit class in early and was home and changed by 9.30am.
Devoured a couple of hot cross buns then the window cleaner came….the sun of the last couple of weeks has shown up just how dirty they were. As usual he was very chatty…brought his son with him who he’s clearly training up.
Once he went I got on with reading Board papers for Friday, and faffed about doing cleaning, some family tree stuff, bit of email housekeeping (having trouble with synch issues and reinstalling an iCloud account on a PC laptop).
Made some oat cookies …haven’t baked for ages, and wondered what to make for dinner for book group on Monday. Started to rain early evening so nipped down to collect S from the station then we had some supper and chatted whilst we watched The Piano final concert.
