Burned trees in the Chiricahuas

We visited this area some years ago, and it is a bit different now after a big fire in 2011. This was taken on the Mormon Ridge trail up Chiricahua Peak. Not a very exciting walk, as there was little wildlife, and not the spectacular geological formations of the National Monument. Interesting, though.
