Cotton Candy Nightmare

....is going to be the name of my punk girl band.

I spent the afternoon helping out at the school fair. Four hours making cotton candy. I think that later I will think it was fun.

On the plus side: I got to play with a cotton candy machine. Always wanted to do that.

On the down side: about 30 minutes is enough. Four hours is just a blur of filling up the hole with sugar (making no pretense to health, the flavour is "artificial blue". Just sugar and E numbers.). Then scrambling to keep up as it spins and spits out sugar, while you try and make an even, light cloud, not a lumpy, lop-sided mess.

Another thing I can add to the Never-Need-To-Do-Again list.
