Burnt tree in meadow

Another fire, this one in another Dog Canyon. It's in Texas, but is accessed from New Mexico. Camping in this side of the Guadalupe National Park it is possible to walk back into New Mexico from the campground in just a few minutes. This area burned in 2010. In New Zealand we're not used to fire resistant vegetation, but here most plants regenerate quite well.
