Done as a favour

I was offered money to make something for someone to give as a gift but I don't think my work is of a standard that warrants payment other than to cover material costs and as I already had the wood blank, that was £0.

I've left it fairly chunky as the are some fines cracks on the rim and I'm hoping will hold up over time, it's very dry so I don't expect things to get any worse.

Played shuffle board last night, that was fun. We only played for an hour, must make it two next time.
