Color and detail

I never cease to be amazed at how much color , detail and texture that can be found in very small flowers.
Some of out chives have started to flower and although they are only about an inch in diameter there is an amazing array of color.
It was a bit windy today and it was difficult holding the camera steady. At least that's my version of it!
The truth is after shoveling , filling and dumping 171 large buckets of mulch my arms were twitching too much to hold the camera steady.
Margaret did all the spreading of the mulch and we reckon we still have about 3 tons left to do.
I must admit Margaret is magic with the garden and we're well ahead of last year so hopefully we will get more time to sit and enjoy it this year as opposed to continually working in it.
