back on Piers island

Another quick trip to the coast to see Terry and family. It was a beautiful west coast day: much more humid that Calgary, somewhat overcast and just about warm enough to walk about in shorts.

The day culminated with a great dinner, lots of beer and wine and the annual around Salt Sping Island yacht race slowly progressing in the background. Given the lack of wind and unfriendly tides, it is likely that a few of these boats would have been declared DNF.
