Dropped by for a scan.
I waited less than a day to get my scan done. My doc said that he would order one for me when I spoke to him at 3:30 yesterday afternoon.   This morning I got a phone call offering me a 2pm appointment. 
The radiographer said that in some areas of the UK, patients can wait up to a year for a scan.
I was so shocked I cried.
