An early awakening!

Lottie is not a morning dog, and she does like an early night too!!  She's taken to the bed above the cab very well, although she has to be lifted up and down!

A knock at the van door this morning and a chap alerting us to a flooding risk! Be prepared to evacuate the site, keep your phones switched on, yikes! Lots of snow melt and continuous heavy overnight rain meant that the lake level had risen 1.5m!

We decamped and headed back to Bowness. We didn't fancy going north or east until the weather settled down a bit and so it made sense to go back there.  Lots of sleety showers and then it all froze solid! Very beautiful, very christmas like. It's proving to be an interesting holiday!

Extra is the 5* dog washing facility! A far cry from a piece of garden hose on a tap!
