Sergey Does Film

Mooching through Hackney Wick this morning I spotted this chap standing in the middle of the road with his plate camera on a tripod. I had to go over and investigate.

It turned out his name is Sergey and he has come to the UK from Russia via Kazakhstan. He explained that he had been waiting about twenty minutes for the right cloudscape. Looking at his page on Instagram - Velvia25- he has a collection of atmospheric shots of neighbourhoods in north London.

I hope to bump into Sergey again sometime.
