Don’t Poke Your Eye Out

A strange blip today, but I couldn’t resist sharing this spud with you. It’s one of ours, and was found at the bottom of a paper bag today. I think it wanted to see out because it was only inches from reaching the top! The eye measured 12”…it’s the longest I’ve ever seen!! Is there a Guinness Book of World Records for a potato eye? Probably, and it’s likely a whole longer than this one, but we consider this little tater tot a grand champion! • He’s a sight for sore eyes • I only have eyes for him • Did a bit of a pickup around the house as our Internet Provider said we’re overdue for a router upgrade. A tech is coming today between 4-6pm to install. There could be some outdoor line work required too, but we’re not sure. There’s no charge either…but there will be some obscure fee or tax that will find its way on our monthly bill at some point…nothing is ever actually free, right? • We’re excited for tomorrow!!
