Hairy Curtain Crust
Another day trying to complete yet another report, with a brisk afternoon walk round Old Sulehay NR to clear my head. After the recent snow, the paths were very muddy and slippery, but this time I managed to stay upright.
Despite there being plenty of leaves of Bluebell and Ramsons, I only saw a scatter of Primrose and Early Dog-violet flowers and still no sign of the Wood Anemones or Toothwort . There was also remarkably little in the way of birdsong, Nature seems to have decided that it's still winter...
In the evening the four of us had a very tasty home-made Chinese 'take-away' including Honey Chilli Chicken made by Alex - a good way to end the day.
