Best Bar None

The Vermeer exhibition lived up to my expectations- it was beautiful. I was in awe of the sheer beauty of his work. There were 27 of his paintings on display and the arrangement really helped to understand his development and interests. The detail of his work was astounding and I was captivated by the light, the detail, the textures, the stories that he was telling. I think it is one of the best exhibitions I have been to. Then we went to a bar and I felt I had walked into a Dutch painting.
