Women of the world

This card is one of 10 that arrived today to add to 10 that I had purchased previously and had intended for a classroom display. Perhaps having 20 will spur me on. I was only talking about Emily Davison with one of my Y13s yesterday as she gets a mention in a poem we are studying.

Our second consecutive strike day today and it was survived with a few frustrations along the way. Still lots to do at the end of the day and a colleague who was uncharacteristically keen to chat delayed things somewhat. I am away for a few days next week for work so need to clear the decks and set cover before I leave tomorrow. Hopefully nothing much else will get in the way.
