Windswept herons!

A cool, but beautiful blue sky sunny day. Roger was involved in an event at church in the morning, but when he got home we both drove to Long Branch Farm and trails, to get some walking in and see the herons on their nests. There aren’t as many as last year, as one of the trees they had nests in was broken in a winter storm. It was pretty windy today, so they were having a bit of a bad hair day up in their nests. We saw several herons fly off and back, carrying a few extra twigs for the nests.
