Lost?

Mid morning three Nordan vans slunk through the gate. They hadn’t been provided with direction or my phone number, so understandably got lost.

They were here to fix my sliding patio door. Unfortunately they were equipped only with shims, used to adjust the position of the due in the frame. What they found was a broken mechanism. So, they will have to order parts and come back sometime. The saga continues.

This afternoon, I went down to Newlands primary school to meet with Principal teacher Marcel. He’s very interested in providing environmental and horticultural sessions for the children to line up with the Green Flag and John Muir programs that they are running. Perhaps a good way to indirectly engage the parents in the Community Farm project.
