Cat-astrophe

Another day off today and plans for making a new batch of Kimchi we’re put on hold.

Daisy our elderly cat (in her 21st year) wandered shamefully from one of the spare bedrooms.

On inspection it seems, for some time, she has been using the space under the bed as a makeshift toilet. S’s stash of art paper has made a good effort in defending the carpet but not completely. A morning’s work dismantling the antique bed to access underneath followed by carpet cleaning and fixing the door latch so it now clicks shut to stop access.

The discovery solves the mystery of the dying plant on the floor in the bathroom and the puddles too. Poor Daisy I fear she has moggie dementia setting in.

Rather than posting a photo from before/after the morning’s work - this is from the garden where,as it gets warmer, Daisy will spend more time sun bathing.
