Posies

I spent the morning at my desk doing admin. Then I had a long chat with a 3rd cousin who recently found me via a Google search which brought up my Gran’s memoirs from last year. His great great grandfather and my great great grandmother were siblings. We shared and compared what details we have.

Then I went to make up posies for Mothering Sunday. Five of us made 100: daffodils and greenery tied with raffia.
Lovely way to spend an hour. Sadly I don’t think my aforementioned grandmother passed any of her florist genes onto me!
