On The Cards

Significant birthday - morning walk around Brayton with daughter A - friend Fi - and Jasper Dog - trip to Monk’s Cross - he wasn’t really - bought clothing - lunch at Miller’s Tea Room - Hollicars - even had cake for pudding - just back at daughter’s in time to watch Cheltenham Gold Cup - Farmers N&V had put a small bet on horse as a present for me - it came fifth - visit from friend S - delivered Parish Magazines - had a sit down was strewn with my cards then snapped

Still to come - birthday teatime drinks at local club with members of Deadpan Players followed by Thai Curry

Had no idea all these activities were on the cards - nor I’d get the cake in extras baked by grandchildren - really am having a Happy Birthday
