Calm

After a week of mixed weather we had a calm and peaceful day at Stowe. We spent the morning pruning laurel bushes where they had been damaged by the frost. After lunch we were dividing clumps of snowdrops and planting out the resulting bunches to create a snowdrop walk for 2024.
