Silver dollar plant

These flowers are also called honesty and apparently bloom every other year. The seed pods are silvery when they dry up later.

No damage to any of my azaleas from frost. However, those sneaky deer have had a meal off the flowers and tender leaves of the wisteria. It was blooming nicely yesterday and now nothing!

Lunch today with high school friends at a new restaurant in town. Had a very different bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich… a toasted croissant with herb aioli sauce, black pepper crusted bacon and an over easy fried egg, tomato and spinach. It was yummy. They serve breakfast all day! I need to take the husband there.


Supposed todo a hike tomorrow but looks like it might rain us out.
