100 per cent Kiwi

Rainy days call for inside blips when you're stuck on crutches. And what better time to experiment with a few things is there when you're restricted to quarters?

For today's blip, I've put a thin kiwi fruit slice on my glass kitchen scales, then uplit it with two an LED lights. Add a Nikkor Micro lens into the mix and you've got the guts of a kiwifruit at close to 1:1.

I've now got ideas for other things I can cross section and photograph with the macro. This could get messy (and juicy).
