It's Spring..

Thought we'd do a shorter walk today - the forecast wasn't too good - so we used a route we'd done before, to Weybourne via Kelling Heath then back to the campsite on the coast path & Muckleburgh Hill. The gorse on Kelling Heath was a blaze of yellow, though it needed to be a bit warmer to release the characteristic scent. The rain started as we reached the village & we thought that it would clear again if we stopped for lunch in the little café. Unfortunately it didn't, so it was a wet second half of the walk & lots of towels needed for our springer once we got back to the van.

The toads were on the path near the small lake below the Kelling Heath campsite. I did take a few other shots on the route, but the camera was tucked away in a waterproof bag as we left the café!
