Well, Herbie is certainly well away!

This morning our choir, (North Tyne Voices) went to Wylam to sing with and to the Wylam Singers. The two conductors are friends and came up with the idea.

We had a good warm up with their conductor, Simon Fidler. Then they sang three songs from their repertoire. We sang three to them.

We learned a version of Amazing Grace, with Simon.

They sang three and we sang two, finishing with a sharing of our of our songs.

It was huge fun. There were smiles all around.

In my picture you see some of the combined bass section in various stages of concentration and ecstasy!

THEN they opened the hatch to the kitchen and brought out the refreshments!! Delicious with lots of home baking.
