False Spring?

Is this a false Spring or the real thing ?

Warm enough to get my sister out to look for migrant birds. Each bird heard or seen was enough to get her half way up the hill.

She made my day very special as a lucky charm perhaps but we spotted the first Sand Martin of the year which gave us a couple of low passes overhead and then a glimpse of a Wheatear.  The bird was ahead of us of a wall and into the sun but there it was exactly what she hoped to find and even on the predicted wall :-)

Only disappointment was it didn’t give me a give me a chance of a photo and we waited and waited but it must have gone off for something to eat.
