Winter Aconites

I planted six large containers with bulbs last year, and there are now a lot of shoots emerging, as well as these few winter aconites. I wasn’t very hopeful that the aconite tubers would work from what I read on-line, but I followed some advice and soaked them in water overnight, and that seems to have done the trick. We now have flowers.

J’s sister came up today, all went well.
