Countesswells Forest ( what’s left of it)

I promise in future to blip less pictures of destroyed forests.

Before Storm Arwen we walked regularly in this forest. It was decimated in the storm and is still closed. A massive clear up has been going on and there is now an unofficial route into the forest from the nearby housing. As there were no forest operations going on we took a wee look this afternoon. A lot of the area is unrecognisable and paths have been churned up by heavy forest machinery. Brodie enjoyed a visit to an old walking area but it’s going to be at least another year before this area will be cleaned up.
