Batten Down The Hatches

A very rough sea today!  All last night we tossed and rolled through very heavy swells, listening to the ship shudder as she crashed through a lot of big waves.  This morning, the same conditions exist, as we plough into an oncoming storm while another one is sneaking up behind us.  The wind is currently clocked at 45 knots (about 50 miles per hour).

We are on the seventh deck, and I took this picture from our balcony -- you can see all that spray coming up from the bow.  I was only out there for the few seconds it took to capture the image, but I was quite soaked when I came back inside!
