'Chionadoxa' or Glory of the Snow. I really like these wee perennial blue flowers which I planted from bulbs a few years ago but I find them frustratingly difficult to photograph. They are very low to the ground making it difficult to see the focus or get a clean background. The wind this morning didn't help but it was like one of those puzzles you can't walk away from until you solve it.
Eventually, I managed to shine a headtorch directly onto the flower and then was able to reduce shutter speed and ISO. Not perfect but probably the best one I've managed. They are lovely and balance the daffodils and primroses. Loath to pick one and bring indoors but may be an option
