nest building time

I thought this red-tailed hawk was hunting for breakfast when I saw it perched in a tree. But the longer I watched, the more I realized it was looking for the perfect twig to break off and take back to the nest. It was quite a trick to get the twig from its beak to its feet in just the right position.
