(Not) Talking Heads

An eventful morning walk with the spaniel in continuous rain. It turned out that the route I had chosen overlapped with that of an ultra marathon starting from Stonor Park and passing along narrow and very muddy paths through the Chilterns. We had to wait while 350 runners slid and squelched past leaving the footpath in a right mess. By contrast the afternoon saw some bright sunshine and I was amused by these mannequin heads glimpsed through the back window of a hairdressing salon.
