Supporting team

Today Pippa was racing in Amsterdam, in the Heineken Roeivierkamp and Bert, Abbie and I came out to support her and her crew. She was racing in the elite coxed double four field.
I am not sure what happened, but when we saw her race there was a fountain of water coming off the bow of her boat (looked like a big piece of plastic got hooked on the hull). I have added a photo in the extra. If you ever rowed in a race hull you will know how much that will add to the resistance of the boat, decreasing boat speed considerably. Poor crew.
The three of us did enjoy the afternoon of racing in the sunshine!
