Hanging In There

We’re all hanging in there, anxious for spring to arrive! Having the calendar tell us is one thing but what’s happening outdoors matters most • Referencing Mary Holland’s Naturally Curious book, March brings about an awakening to most New England species. Some amphibians and reptiles begin breeding, many migrant birds returning and a few others start nesting. Not only is it looking differently outdoors, it’s sounding it, too. Courtship singing and howling are in force! • March Madness NCAA Basketball Tournament is in full force too! Both Women’s and Men’s games are on all day and night this weekend. Soon 72 teams will be whittled to two for early April finals • Happy Weekend, Everyone! Stay well and joyful :)
