I can see clearly now

We had a drive over to the opticians at Whitby and picked up our new specs. Then a little wander in the sunshine before heading back and stopped off for some lunch.

We choose the Blacksmiths Arms a 250 year old inn that is part of the Duchy of Lancaster where a few years ago the late Queen and Prince Philip enjoyed a meal there. We also enjoyed our lunch, Mr PC had Gammon and I had fish and chips.

On our doggie walk tonight we were caught in a rain storm and boy the rain was bouncing off the ground.
