Dragon

Back down in Saltaire the morning after last night’s gig, and just in time to catch a dragon boat being paddled along the canal. I then spent a couple of hours rummaging in the bargain buckets at a record fair; one stall had a box of folk albums at 50p each which kept me happy. 

Later, 15yo and I walked down to the nature reserve. There was a lovely display of Primrose but no sign of ducklings or goslings yet. Mandarin Duck and Canada Goose had staked out the pond. Water levels in the Aire are still high with meltwater from last week’s snow so there was not much bird life on the river.
