Toads in the dark

I almost stepped on these two, when walking home in the rain and dark. From the other side all I could see was a moving leaf and an indistinct shape. It was only when I looked at the photo that I realised it was two toads, not one. They are close to shelter under a hedge, but where they will find a pond I don't know.

This is night mode on my phone. Given that it was too dark for me know what I was seeing, it's done quite well.
