Oregon Tigrayan American Women’s Association invited Kendall to photograph women and families at their annual International Women’s Day celebration. It included a wonderful meal of Ethiopian traditional foods including injera and several kinds of wat. While the adults met indoors and shared connections and news, the children had a rowdy game of soccer outside. The photos will be processed by Kendall and used by the organization to raise money to send to Ethiopia.
