Lochan na h-Earba

We had more time than normal for the Sunday morning dog walk. Mrs SJR and the dogs haven't been here for ages so it was the perfect choice.

Here is a rare appearance of Archie in a photo (and Mrs SJR).

The loch is higher again than it was on my visit here last weekend by bike.

I started a pain of a job on the bike yesterday and completed it this afternoon; a complete inner and outer cable housing renewal for the front gear change. It goes through the inside of the frame and under the handlebar tape. I dare say, concealing the cables might look cleaner and is obviously the fashion but it is a nightmare to work on. It was definitely needing done as the shift action is nice and light again. There are more expensive bikes which have bowed further to fashion and wind resistance and have the cables inside the actual handlebars and stem. I think it takes a skilled bike mechanic a shift to change a cable.
