Life and death

We were asked to go and shift a dead chamois that was nearly immediately on the hiking path, and to check what could have been the cause of death. 

It seemed first that the poor guy had a jaw infection and couldn't eat anymore, but after further inspection this seems not to have been the case. Looking at his eyes, he could have been blind and then had an accident. 

He was moved further away from the path to not scare the hikers anymore, and the gamekeeper was informed.
