Project in process
Another quick blip today. I've been busy with the first bit of 'serious' gardening of the year. These pots had contained Iceberg roses but they were struggling at the front of the house. Partly due to them wanting to outgrow the pots but mainly due to the very exposed location. It can be extremely cold or extremely hot depending on the weather and last years droughts really caused them problems. They are moving to the back garden and into the ground, to be replaced at the front by these Euonymus 'Paloma Blanca' which should be more suited to the location. So no more white roses at the front which will disappoint some of the passers by I know but these little shrubs are slightly more decorative than common euonymus as the new growth always has the pale green to white growing tips showing and when the white pelargoniums are planted out around them there should be a bit of a show for the front. Fingers crossed!
