View from Shaw's Bridge

This photo is taken from a narrow little road bridge that used to be the main roadway just half a mile from where we lived as children. There were white lines marked in the middle of the bridge for buses to follow  whilst the cars, should there ever be any any, waited until they passed over.  Likewise, the road down to the bridge was narrow and winding.  I think we called it Legg's Lane.  Nowadays a modern road bridge runs alongside and Legg's Lane is left to ponder its retirement as an access road to the car park.
