Red and Ros

A busy day again. Red Nose Day meant some red changes to uniforms, noses and wigs. We also had a charity cake sale and raised over £1000 in total. At 10am I joined a queue online for tickets to see Sigur Ros with an orchestra as part of the Meltdown festival at the Royal Festival Hall. Nearly 2 hours later I reached the front of the queue and got my ticket - the event sold out shortly after. Finished teaching. Fish and chips for lunch. Stayed on for a meeting with colleagues and visitors then home. Football and reading to end the week. Several excellent new books arrived to help with my research and writing on Iceland.
