Boat on Lake Geneva

A grey day so we headed to the lake to visit the Montreux fort. One of the boats came past whilst we were there.

Excellent visit to the fort. It is all underground (built into a cliff) as are many of them in Switzerland. Parts of it have been renovated so you can see what it was like during its active service. There’s a kitchen, officers mess, hospital etc set up with lots of interactive bits. See extra for an external view. Very informative.
