“Every woman, every man, join the caravan of love” sang the Housemartins. But this long line of wheelie bins set below a black and white photo-realistic mural painted on the Everyman cinema wall in Altrincham was not as enticing.

Tried to guess afterwards who the subject might be - assuming it was film-based but thinking at first it might be an actress from a British kitchen sink drama like ‘A Kind of Loving’ or something. In the end though, I guessed and Googled “Brigitte Bardot car window” and found the exact same picture: ‘Brigitte Bardot leans out of a car window after a press party to promote "La Vérité" (Henri-Georges Clouzot 1960).
