Virtual hugs

Lovely to get calls and, later, these beautiful flowers for Mother’s Day…the scent filling the house.
We’d spent most of the day doing food shopping for Book Group and nipping in and out of charity shops looking for little espresso cups or equivalent (to no avail!), then starting on some food prep.
Missed the delivery of the flowers so had to go and collect them, and some puzzle over missing card, but having wrecked the kitchen unpacking the shopping then arranging the flowers we cleared up just enough before going out for a gorgeous dinner at The Little Chartroom. Delicious, and very slick organisation and service…a very well run place with an excellent kitchen.
Home to relax with some nonsense crime drama and a cup of tea.
