Hispanic International Film Festival

notified me that I won an award at their festival.

They notified me back in January but because I was rejected by so many festivals, I stopped opening the emails and just deleted them. I’m such a noodle.

So this morning, I decided to enter one last festival…. www.wicklowstoriesfilmfestival.com through the www.filmfreeway.com portal and when I log in, I see a notification telling me I won an award. Holy Moly.

Anyhoo filmfreeway is a great little site listing all film festivals anywhere in the world. You can submit your work in a very efficient way.

I am entering Wicklow Stories as my film was shot exclusively in Bray (in college studio) and the festival is held in Greystones in October. Now I’m gonna have to start deciding on what dress to wear. Oh it’s so exciting.
