Ben and Barney

These two gorgeous collies are called Ben and Barney. They were focussed only on their owner throwing a stick for them to chase.

Many years ago I stopped throwing sticks for dogs. My dog Max used to love chasing sticks. Great fun and all was well until one day the stick was upended and went down his throat. It was a nasty accident and very scary for me to witness. Max needed veterinary care, but thank goodness he was alright. Needless to say, I've never thrown a stick for a dog again.
