Exploring

Woke to lots of fog and mist. After a rather big breakfast (I’m loving yoghurt, berries and chia seed pudding) I decided to get ready for the day. A slow and restful start.

The hope is the weather will be decent for photos tomorrow so I decided today was the day for a decent walk and a bit of nature. I walked to the local beach and then went on to a kind of part forestry nature reserve. There were only a few people about and the scenery was stunning, so different from anything I’ve seen before. At one point a guy appeared and walked out over the sea, on the thick frozen ice, and started using a huge metal screw-like device to make a hole on the surface. I watched him for a bit as he started fishing, what a cool thing to see.
